Revitalize Bridgeport's Main Street!
The Bridgeport Main Street Revitalization Project is coming to town! The problems and possibilities of Highway 395 as it passes through Bridgeport has been the subject of community discussion for quite some time, and now an exciting opportunity is available for residents and business owners to provide direct input on how to change the face of Main Street. Hosted by the Bridgeport Valley Regional Planning Advisory Committee and in collaboration with Caltrans District 9, the Bridgeport community is invited to an interactive "Design Fair" that will include small group discussions, drawing ideas on maps, and a walking tour to explore the problems and possible solutions on the ground and in field. Based on public input, the Design Fair team will prepare a plan with detailed recommendations for infrastructure improvments, including small and feasible enhancements that can be enacted in the short term. Please see the attached article for a complete description of the project and events.
Design Fair Events at Memorial Hall:
- Opening Community Workshop: Thursday, August 23, 7-9 pm
